QUEEN OF SNAKES
My inspiration for QUEEN OF SNAKES, my Taylor Swift inspired piece!
I felt super inspired by the snakes in the set design of the Reputation Tour. The Netflix documentary captured the symbolism so beautifully. Technically, this was one of the most challenging paintings I've done to date! I wanted to paint golden snakes to capture a royal air but wasn't anticipating how ambitious of an undertaking that would be. The total paint time clocked in at almost 40h because of how intricate the design was! And of course, I used purple in the background for Taylor.
